The 2020 Tobacco Free Idaho Alliance Annual Meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 8th from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at McCleary Auditorium at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center.
The meeting will include keynote speaker and leading tobacco control activist, Stanton Glantz, Ph.D., Professor, Department of Medicine and Director for Tobacco Control Research and Education, University of California, San Francisco. Stan is known as the “Ralph Nader of the anti-tobacco movement. As quoted from his biography, “Glantz is an activist for nonsmokers’ rights and an advocate of public health policies to reduce smoking.” The meeting agenda is still in draft form but it will include a keynote from Dr. Glantz and a discussion of Tobacco Control Policy Changes.
