Fall Policy Forum - "The Future of Health Care in Idaho"

In partnership with the Boise State University Department of Community & Environmental Health, IPHA is hosting a panel discussion on the "Future of Health Care in Idaho: A Forecast for the 2013 Legislative Session."  The event will be held in the Student Union Jordan Ballroom at Boise State University from 7:00-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13.  
 
The panel discussion will feature Senator Dan Schmidt,  Russ Barron, Landis Rossi, and Dave Self.  Just one week after Fall general elections, this event will entail a timely and informative discussion on important policy issues related to public health and health care in Idaho.  

Senator Dan Schmidt is the Idaho State Senator for District 5 (Benewah & Latah Counties), is a medical doctor, and serves on various legislative committees impacting health care--including the Senate Health and Welfare Committee and the joint Health Care Task Force. 

Russ Barron is a Division Administrator in the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare, Medicaid.

Dave Self is senior vice president and regional director of Idaho and Washington for PacificSource, and he is a member of the Governor's Health Insurance Exchange Work Group

Landis Rossi is the executive director for Catholic Charities of Idaho.  In this position, she has been involved with a number of health policy issues in Idaho.  Previously, she worked as Regional Director for the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare.
