2012 Legislature

Legislative Updates

As in past years, the Idaho Public Health Association will provide Legislative Updates on public health related issues during the legislative session. Kimberly Gallagher, the IPHA legislative intern for 2012, will be monitoring health related policy activities and providing weekly updates.

Our goal is to provide you with nonpartisan, objective insight that will both inform and serve as a catalyst for involvement in the policy making process. Kimberly looks forward to your input and comments, her contact information is kimberlygallagher@u.boisestate.edu.

We encourage you to support this valuable resource by donating to IPHA. Please go to the “Get Involved” button on the top left of the IPHA home page and make a donation through “Donate Now!” Your generous support will help assure the interests of the public's health are represented in the Idaho legislature.

We will be posting Kimberly's weekly updates to this page (Policy/Advocacy > Legislative Updates) of the website, so check back often to see the status of legislation in committee and on the floor of the Senate and House. If you are not an IPHA member please join IPHA's email list to receive the Legislative Updates as soon as they are available (use the "Join E-Mail List" button at the top right of the home page of this website).
