2021 Legislative Updates

Piper is IPHA's Policy Analyst Intern who will monitor issues and legislation related to public health during the 2021 Legislative Session. Piper grew up in Boise and then moved to Bellingham, Washington to complete her B.S. in Psychology at Western Washington University. Piper is in her second year of the Master's in Public Health program with an emphasis in systems analysis and innovation. She has work experience teaching abroad, working for a local non-profit, and currently works for the IRB at Boise State. Piper's interest in policy focuses on a systems approach, with her specific interests being improving access to mental health care and addressing racial inequity.
